Holland

A few words..

Though small in size, Holland has an enormous cultural heritage and has accomplished a substantial economic opening in many European countries.
It borders with Germany, Belgium and the North Sea and is located within a short distance of many other European countries. Brussels is only 2 hours by train and there are direct flights from Cyprus to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Groningen, and to other cities. The landscape in Holland is very flat, with only a few areas with small hills. Water (the rivers, lakes and canals), is the main characteristic of the terrain’s morphology. Holland is one of the richest and most developed countries in the world. It is one of the most densely populated countries in Europe, and well-known for demonstrating freedom and tolerance within its legal framework. It also boasts a wide variety of student cities, that are only a bike ride (which is the preferred means of moving around the country) from scenic landscapes.
