Do you know that you can sit the IMAT without going to Italy? The IMAT exam is held in Cyprus (Nicosia), during the beginning of September of every new year.
There are 16 Universities offering Medicine in English language.
Test format
IMAT is a pen-and-paper test and it is divided into four sections as explained below.
IMAT 2024 Format: 60 multiple choice questions, to be answered in 100 minutes (4 reading skills and general knowledge, 5 logical reasoning and problem-solving, 23 biology, 15 chemistry, 13 physics and math).
5 possible answers in each question
Duration of Exam => 100 minutes to complete exam
How the test is Scored (careful, you get negative points for wrong answers)
- 1.5 points for each correct answer
- -0.4 points for each wrong answer
- 0 (zero) points for each question not answered
